Brand Launch and Integrated Communications Program
In partnership with CloudSimple’s vice president of marketing, Ken Drachnik, The Winders Group (TWG) built an integrated marketing and communications program to support the company’s high-profile launch.
The engagement began with the development of a website designed to establish the CloudSimple brand and showcase its cutting-edge technology. The addition of HubSpot CRM and Marketing Hub created the ideal platform forCloudSimple to easily set up landing pages, automate email campaigns and nurture prospects.
Rounding out the launch strategy, a corporate communications program, with strategic positioning at its core, created a messaging platform from which partner communication, trade PR and social media could thrive.
TWG successfully executed CloudSimple’sbreak-out moment, reinforcing the creation of the VMware-as-a-Service category and establishing market leadership through media relations, event marketing and social media. During the first half of 2019, the integrated marketing efforts of The Winders Group resulted in these key accomplishments:
Website- Traffic to the site grew quickly and resulted in hundreds of new leads and thousands of subscribers for ongoing engagement and nurturing. Chatbot functionality was used to pre-qualify prospective clients before leads were handed off to Sales.
Social Media- 600% growth in audience on LinkedIn and 500% on Twitter during first four months of the campaign. Engaging with more than 200 cloud computing influencers resulted in an average of 25 mentions, reshares, likes and comments on a weekly basis
Event Marketing- Email marketing drove more than 200 RSVPs to private education and social events in VMworld with participation in 8 partner booths and 5 speaking opportunities.
Media Relations- TWG developed go-to-market PR strategy to position CloudSimple as the leading Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud VMware-as-a-Service partner, leading to more than 100 mentions of the company in key industry trade press around the time of its launch in mid-2019
